Replacing deferred maintenance buildings north and west of Goddard on Shawnee Mission Parkway’s frontage, this unique in-fill redevelopment changes the landscape adding $76 million in value and wages over the next 10 years replacing a pawn shop, coin-laundry, day-labor office and used car dealerships.


We have acquired the 4 commercial buildings at the northwest corner that have blighted our community for decades.  We demolished the western 3 buildings in June 2016 and the old Pawn shop on the corner will be taken out Feb 2017.  We now start construction on buildings encompassing an estimated 40,000sf of new commercial space at a value of over$10,000,000.

Our public-private partnership with the City allowed for moving the creek channel to the north an average of 70’ to allow us to make one of our proposed buildings a truly spectacular 3-story, approximately 35,000sf, office building.  This gateway to our City can be a testament to the strength and growth of our City and this additional ground is needed to provide the parking required for the 3-story office.
