Kevin Tubbesing is a business and community leader living in Shawnee, Kansas with businesses there and in Kansas City, MO.  Having served on the City Council and Planning Commissions for a first-class city, Kevin’s valuable experience in development and land use comes from both the owner/developer as well as a valuable, governing perspective.

 

Following his service in the US Army/Reserve in the ‘90s, Kevin developed CIO, Inc., a technology infrastructure and support company, which he then sold in late 2005.  As a business owner, Kevin was drawn to building equity instead of paying rent and in 2001 undertook the purchase and redevelopment of an abandoned gas station.  Converting this property into an expanded, Class-B office complex, Kevin found his love of real estate, development services, and helping other investors and business owners see their visions come to fruition.  As a purely guilty pleasure, Kevin also operates Cellaring Solutions, a wine storage/cellaring racking company.

 

Kevin is involved in many state/local groups including District Governor-Elect of Rotary International in eastern Kansas, Past-Chairman of NFIB in Kansas, and was selected by Ingram’s Magazine as one of Kansas City’s 40 Under 40.  Kevin also serves as Past-Chairman of Wonderscope Children’s Museum's Board of Directors, was named 2007 Kansas Small-Business Champion of the Year, and is a member of the 2008 Class of Leadership Kansas and now serves on LK’s Board of Trustees.  In his spare time... Kevin applies his experience with startup companies and investing to M&A activity helping small business owners equitably divest of their closely held companies.
