KEVIN TUBBESING,
SIOR, CCIM, ALC
Kevin Tubbesing, SIOR, CCIM, ALC, is a business and community leader living in Shawnee and operating his firm out of Mission, Kansas. Having served on the City Council and Planning Commissions for a first-class city, Tubbesing’s valuable experience in development and land use comes from both the owner/developer side as well as a valuable, governing, perspective.
Following his service in the US Army/Reserve in the ‘90s, Tubbesing developed CIO, Inc., a technology infrastructure and support company, which he then sold in late 2005. As a business owner, Tubbesing was drawn to building equity and in 2001, he undertook the purchase and redevelopment of an abandoned gas station. While converting this property into an expanded, Class-B office complex, now known as Stag’s View, Tubbesing found his love of real estate, development services, and helping investors and business owners see their visions come to fruition.
Tubbesing believes in strong community involvement and has served in leadership roles including: District Governor of Rotary International in Eastern Kansas, Chairman of NFIB in Kansas, Chairman of Wonderscope Children’s Museum's Board of Directors, was a member of the 2008 Class of Leadership Kansas and the served on LK’s Board of Trustees. In addition, Tubbesing was selected by Ingram’s Magazine as one of Kansas City’s 40 Under 40 in 2004, has been awarded the prestigious 25 Under 25 recognition for successful small businesses in Kansas City, and was named 2007 Kansas Small-Business Champion of the Year. In 2023 Kevin will proudly serve as Chairman of the Board of the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work, Tubbesing enjoys teaching himself how to woodwork, growing out the family orchard, long trips to his local Costco, and sipping a handcrafted Old Fashioned on his back deck.
